DF: RMU, Day 5 (AA)

Well, hi there. Eight miles today, and all is well!

I just wolfed down a burrito (homemade, not Chipotle) so I'm doing okay on refueling. I do kind of want cookies, but I can work on that later.

So let's talk about something a little less, um, highbrow: When you're running, do you wipe your nose all over your sleeves and gloves? Because, uh, yeah. It's gross, but you gotta wipe your nose somewhere.

50 miles down (!), 38 to go. Woo!

  1. I agree on the gloves. Never ever shake my hand during/after a run. Eew.

  2. Snot rocket, glove is backup. How do you clean suede leather?

  3. First is the farmer's blow, then the wiping on whatever shows up first—glove, shirt, sleeve. I'm an extraordinarily snotty person.

  4. Sleeves, gloves, hands, shirt corner, occasionally an actual handkerchief if I felt like carrying one... I think I'm allergic to exercise or something because my nose runs CONSTANTLY when I'm running/biking/whatever, regardless of the weather.
